The South Parent Group budget consists of revenues from the parent dues collected at the beginning of each year and expenses throughout the year for various events and programs including: - Educational support: Art in Action, STEAM Expo, Tiger Funds for teachers, Multi-cultural Day, etc.
- School and classroom support: allocations for capital improvements, classroom funds for class parties, Tiger Funds for teachers, South School Yearbook, etc.
- Staff appreciation activities and events: staff holiday luncheon, end-of-year staff appreciation lunch, teacher gifts, etc.
- Family events: South Social, Bingo Night, Movie Night, etc.
- Community support: Hillsborough City School District directory, speaker series for APG, etc.
